September 19, 2026: The Sports Department of AKS University, Satna, organized the Inter-Department Table Tennis Tournament 2026-27 in both Men’s and Women’s categories. Teams from various departments participated enthusiastically and displayed excellent sportsmanship, discipline and competitive spirit.The tournament was
inaugurated in the presence of Prof. Harshvardhan Shrivastava, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Development); Prof. Suryanath Singh Gaharwar; Mr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Sports Officer; and Dr. Virendra Kumar Pandey, Deputy Dean, Student Welfare. The dignitaries interacted with the players and encouraged them to participate with dedication and a positive sporting spirit.In the Women’s category, Agriculture Science secured the first position, Agriculture Engineering and Food Technology finished as runners-up, while Law secured third place. In the Men’s category, Agriculture Engineering and Food Technology emerged as winners, followed by Management in second place and Commerce in third place.The matches were officiated by Prof. Amarpreet Saluja, Dr. Shubhra, Mr. Shivam Pandey and Mrs. Surbhi Singh, Assistant Sports Officer, ensuring fair and smooth conduct of the competition.The event was successfully conducted with the active support of Sports Mentors, Sports Captains, faculty members and student representatives, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting sports, teamwork, discipline and the holistic development of students.
