The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The university’s Chancellor, Mr. B.P. Soni, presided over the function and addressed the audience. Tripathi, and Director Mr. Amit Soni as special guests.

On the occasion, Mayor Mr. Tamrakar remarked, “The soul of India resides in its folk cultures. When artists take the stage, they do not merely perform but revive centuries-old traditions and emotions. We must take pride and responsibility in preserving these art forms.”

The program opened with captivating performances by folk artists invited from Rajasthan. Dancers swaying to timeless tunes like ‘Kesariya Balam Padharo Mhare Des’ and ‘Nimbooda Nimbooda’ brought the cultural richness of the desert alive on stage. The swirling movements and vibrant costumes of the Kalbeliya dance filled the atmosphere with joy.

Vinay Goswami and his troupe from Mathura beautifully portrayed the divine episodes of Radha-Krishna through the Mayur Nritya (Peacock Dance). Adorned with peacock feathers, their expressive gestures left the audience emotionally moved.

Karishma Kesari from Varanasi brought classical grace to the stage through Bharatanatyam, expressing the emotions, beauty, and spiritual essence of womanhood. Similarly, Shikha Pal and her team from Haryana enthralled the audience with Faag and Ghoomar dances, evoking the vibrancy of Haryanvi culture.

The fragrance of Bundelkhand’s folk traditions filled the air when Rakhi Dwivedi and her troupe performed Bagheli singing. Neha Singh Saengar’s Kathak performance showcased a perfect harmony of rhythm, expression, and grace, truly embodying the elegance of North Indian classical tradition.

At the conclusion of the program, Mr. M.M. Mani, the cultural coordinator, honored all the artists with bouquets and expressed heartfelt gratitude toward the custodians of Indian culture. Pandey, Student Welfare Officer Dr. Mahendra Kumar Tiwari, Dhanraj Gupta, Balakrishna Mishra from Cultural Directorate, Priyesh Jha, Lucky Singh, Ashutosh Soni, and many other dignitaries, art enthusiasts, and university students.
